About Us
Our Mission
We are dedicated to help orphaned and vulnerable children come to know the love of God. Our aim (with your help!) is to provide comfortable housing, loving caregivers, nourishing food, education, and support for a child's spiritual, emotional, and mental health needs.
Our History
Casa Hogar Douglas was starting in the 1960's when people began dropping children off at Berea Bible College because they knew Christians lived there. Eventually the founders split the property into two sections, one to care for children and the other to continue the Bible college. Through the years, Casa Hogar Douglas has been a safe haven and home to hundreds of children. Today, the children's home is run by Betty Betscher and her incredible team.

We would love to host you on a unique mission trip experience to meet the amazing children and staff at Casa Hogar Douglas in Monterrey. Stay in onsite housing at the children's home, experience Monterrey as a local, complete work projects on the property, and invest in the lives of children!
